Haida Gwaii is a spectacular place full of life and culture. Everyone in Haida Territories shares a responsibility to care for the Air, Ocean, Land and People.
Behind this geoengineering project is Russ George. At that time head of the The Haida Salmon Restoration Corp. a Vancouver B.C. based company funded by the Old Massett band of Haida Gwaii.
Old Massett residents invested $2.5 million to start the Haida Salmon Restoration Corporation (HSRC) and initiate the iron-fertilization project in hopes that it would boost the salmon population. (B.C. village’s ocean fertilization experiment probed)
George realized that if he could generate carbon offsets by actually pulling carbon out of the atmosphere, he could make saving the Earth a profitable proposition. But while there isn’t enough land on the earth to plant enough trees to even begin to compensate for the impact of modern civilization, there is potential in plankton. “Plankton in the ocean is essentially the ocean forest,” and the amount of carbon moderated by plankton is phenomenal, George says.
In July 2012, the now-inactive Haida Salmon Restoration travelled to international waters near the islands of Haida Gwaii where it dumped 100 tonnes of iron sulphate into the water in an effort to restore waning salmon stocks. CAN ANYONE STOP THE MAN WHO WILL TRY JUST ABOUT ANYTHING TO PUT AN END TO CLIMATE CHANGE?
The good news however is that The Haida Salmon Restoration Corp., the group responsible for releasing 100 tonnes of iron sulphate in the international waters off Haida Gwaii, says it has also dumped its lead scientist Russ George.
Let’s stand up so that geoengineering projects like this will NEVER ever happen again.

In her book, "Under An Ionized Sky" Author, Elana Freeland suggested that the dumping of iron sulfate particulates off the coast of BC served to quicken " the alpha-penene in plankton to increase a biogenic aerosol reaction to magnify cloud mass.... The resulting 10,000 square kilometers of phytoplankton blooms could be seen from space, along with significant cloud mass."
" It is possible that scientists who are making connections about what's really going on are remaining silent for self-preservation. Research scientist, Tiffany Moisan, 48, an expert on phytoplankton and climate change, was employed at NASA's Wallops Flight Facility until Sunday, June 5, 2016, when she was found murdered behind a store in Princess Anne, Maryland.
